The Biggest Pitch of the Year gives students a first-hand look into the world of creative agencies.
Over 8 weeks, participants work in teams to answer a live client brief. Students get to develop essential skills, produce an advert, receive guidance from mentors, and present their final campaign to industry professionals.
Briefs have included easyJet, Alton Towers, ArtUK and Music Venue Trust, challenging students to think big and create bold, original ideas.
Since 2021, the programme has seen over 350 students involved and participating schools have included Stoke-on-Trent College, Bilborough College in Nottingham, City of Stoke-on-Trent Sixth Form College, NSCG Newcastle-Under-Lyme and NSCG Stafford.
"This project has been a game-changer. All of the students have learnt so much, not only about producing a body of work for a client within a professional setting, but also learning about themselves and their self-belief in their ability and creative potential.” Graeme Malcolm, teacher at Stoke-on-Trent College
“During the time working on this project, I have been able to find new confidence in my work and my abilities and this is something that I will be forever grateful for.” Student at NSCG Stafford
"The students' ideas were thoughtful, ambitious, and in some cases incredibly moving. It was a real privilege to witness their passion first-hand.” Toni Coe-Brooker, Music Venue Trust
